On October 20, 2007. the African-American Cultural Council of Virginia presented a 10th Multi-National Salute to Minorities in the Military. The Vietnam Era honorees included Kathleen Fennell (Sharon Ann LaneFoundation), Kerry Pardue (Vietnam War Medic, Poet) and LanaNoone, who was recognized for her Operation Babylift Living Historian work. Pictured in the photo are Freddi Moody, AACC's President with Lana Noone, Kerry Pardue, honorees and members of AACC's Board. A highlight of the Ceremony was an acceptance speech by Colonel (Retired) Porcher L. Taylor, Jr., a life member of the famed Tuskegee Airmen who spoke about this involvement with this heroic group.
