Comments: My name is Ken Ernst. My birth name is Ngyuen Bau Son born Aug. 17, 1974. I wasn't part of Operation Babylift but came over on March 13, 1975 from Saigon. I have papers explaining my situation and am intersted in learnig more about my ordeal if anyone has any answers. My bith mother gave birth to me in a public hospital in Dalat but soon after gave me up. I was then placed at the Good Shepard Orphanage under the care of Sis. Mary Bernadette Sullivan in Vinh Long. After a while I was given to the Catholic Commitee for refugees for adoption in the US after being flown out of Saigon on March 13, 1975 on Northwest Orient to New York through Hong Kong. I was then adopted by Richard and Charlotte Ernst from Middletown Conn. I grew up in Philadelphia and currently reside in Las Vegas. I really don't know what to expect from this or get out of it. I just recently became interested in finding out more about my past. I feel lucky to have survived such an ordeal and be where I am today. Feel free to email me with any questions/answers or I you just want to talk.
