Jennifer Noone's letter to Randy Martinez
(CEO of World Airways)
on the occasion of
World's 30th Anniversary Babylift trip to Vietnam

May 30, 2005
Dear Mr. Martinez,

I would like o take this opportunity to express my gratitude and extend a personal "thank you" to World Airways and, more importantly to you.

I am one of the adoptees who will be traveling to Vietnam in June. I feel incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to return to my birth country and to participate in this historical event.

In April, 1975 my parents (Byron and Lana Noone) adopted another child from Vietnam. However, she was extremely ill and only survived a short time after her adoption. (Heather Constance Noone, arrived 4/23/75 and died 5/17/75).

One of my mother's dreams is to touch the soil of...(the country) where my sister was born. Thanks to you and all your work and effort, she will be able to live this dream. I have nothing but positive feelings about this trip, and I am looking forward to meeting all the wonderful and dedicated people who were able to make this happen.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Jen Noone
